Thrilled to share that MIKADO racked up a total of 8 awards (5 platinum and 3 gold) at the 2021 Hermes Awards 15th annual creative competition. We are so grateful to have been able to work on these incredible activations and share these accolades with our amazing clients - Knorr, Lipton Yellow Label, Lifebuoy, and Brooke Bond Red Label.

Our campaign, Tyohaar Wahi, Andaaz Naya (meaning “Same Festival, Different Style”), deployed a multi-channel approach that incorporated TV, online sweepstakes, and social media blasting to remind people to celebrate mindfully while remembering what the essence of this great tradition is all about. Our TV commercial showed the modern way in which a family who is spread across the globe can still come together and celebrate. We further evoked delight and excitement by creating a holiday-themed sweepstakes that generated buzz online on various social media platforms.

  • We set out to create a multi-channel approach that would create meaningful engagement among our key demographic around the largest celebration in Asian culture; Lunar New Year and cut through the noise of fierce competition during this high-traffic period.
  • We designed and produced an activation to “bring your favorite restaurant home”. Our heartwarming TVC featured a family bringing their favorite local restaurant flavors to their own dinner table using Knorr’s convenient and authentic products. The commercial speaks to the family-centric customs associated with Lunar New Year festivities but also to the ease of using Knorr’s dinner time options as a way to marry cultural traditions with modern conveniences, especially during the pandemic when many traditional celebrations had to be scaled back. 

CMA Gold Award – Pears "Pure since 1807"

  • At this live virtual event, we were honored with a coveted CMA Gold Award in the Consumer Products - Engagement Category for our Pears “Pure since 1807” activation in partnership with #Unilever International.
  • Launched earlier this year as the pandemic was beginning to unfold, the focus of the activation was to remind consumers of the importance of washing their hands properly for 20 seconds.

Honored and humbled to be recognized as part of the elite group of winners at this year’s international MarCom creative awards. We’re thrilled to announce that the team took home two awards for Strategic Communications including a platinum award in partnership with our client Knorr for our Love is Mom’s Cooking campaign targeting Asian Americans and Canadians.

 

Platinum Award – Brooke Bond Red Label "Chaimojis" Print Ad

Won the platinum award in the Print Media category for the Brooke Bond Red Label Chaimojis ad. In order to encourage users to use the sticker pack during Diwali, we placed ads in top media channels to spread the word about the first branded South Asian keyboard app by Brooke Bond Red Label.
